Our aim is to help recreational fishers minimise depredation through adjusting where they fish, how they fish, while also exploring technological innovations and sharing science-based recommendations that might help. To support the development of scientific and technological innovations that might help fishers minimise depredation, we will be giving access to the data from Shark’d to researchers and industry partners. Requests for data by researchers and industry partners will be completely transparent. Once a request is made, all parties will be notified, and you will have two weeks to decide whether you are comfortable with those researchers or industry partners having access to your data.
